Meet the Molecule

Levagen®+ is a bioavailable form of PEA, palmitoylethanolamide.

PEA is its own category: not a peptide, not a retinoid, not an exosome. It's a lipid compound essential to long-term skin health. Levagen®+ maximises absorption into the skin, optimising your results.

More About Levagen®+

Your skin produces PEA on its own. Under lifestyle stress and as we age, that supply runs low.

Levagen®+ is how we put it back, delivered directly to skin cells through a patented technology, so what's proven in the lab is what actually reaches your skin.

The 3 Biological Systems

SIGNAL

PEA is a lipid your skin naturally produces in response to stress and injury, part of its own inflammatory-response system. It helps regulate the signals that tell skin when to calm down and repair. Clinical research shows topical PEA can meaningfully reduce redness, dryness, and irritation. However, PEA is naturally fat-loving and poorly absorbed on its own. Levagen®+ solves that by using LipiSperse® technology to maximise absorption, ensuring skin actually receives the signal.

REPAIR

Once that signal comes through, PEA supports the skin's natural repair process. Clinical studies show it helps strengthen the skin barrier and calm visible redness, sensitivity, and dryness, allowing skin to recover instead of remaining stuck in a cycle of irritation.

REGULATE

Over time, this helps keep the skin's inflammatory response in balance. Skin still needs inflammation to defend itself, just not constantly simmering in the background. By helping regulate that low-grade ongoing response, skin looks healthier and evener, while becoming more resilient to daily stressors.

Levagen®+

PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) is a lipid your skin makes naturally to calm and repair itself. Levagen®+ delivers a clinically studied, highly bioavailable form of it, engineered to actually get where it needs to go.

HOW IT WORKS

The LipiSperse® dispersion technology in Levagen®+ helps reduce the PEA down into smaller, more absorbent particles, helping it efficiently reach the skin cells.

WHY IT WORKS

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a lipid your own skin cells produce on demand in response to stress, UV exposure and irritation, it's part of skin's natural system for calming inflammation and restoring balance. Levagen®+ supports that system in two ways: directly, by binding to PPAR-α receptors to help regulate inflammatory signalling; and indirectly, by supporting the skin's endocannabinoid-like pathways that govern comfort and repair.

Because unformulated PEA is poorly soluble and hard for skin to absorb, Levagen®+ is processed with LipiSperse® dispersion technology, breaking it into smaller particles for better solubility and deeper, more consistent absorption.

The Evidence

Levagen®+ is one of the most studied forms of PEA available, with more than 16 published studies behind the ingredient.

What the clinical trial found.

In a randomised, comparator-controlled study, Levagen®+ was applied twice daily for four weeks and measured against a standard moisturising cream. Skin treated with Levagen®+ improved significantly more than the comparator over that period, with around 52% greater improvement in symptom severity. Redness came down measurably. So did dryness. Levagen®+ was well tolerated throughout, with no adverse events reported.

On bioavailability, precisely.

Bioavailability describes how much of an ingredient the body can absorb and use. For Levagen®+, that has been measured in oral studies, where absorption can be tracked in the blood. Those figures belong to the ingredient and to the LipiSperse® technology behind it. They describe oral absorption, and we will not present them as a claim about our serum.

Why we publish all of this.

Every number above sits with the study it came from, and every study is about Levagen®+ as an ingredient. That is the honest boundary, and drawing it is what makes the rest of what we tell you worth trusting.
